Why is /etc/dhcpd.conf is missing?

:I see dhcpd in the base system (and like it), but there is no
:/etc/dhcpd.conf file. I do not really care about it, since I am familiar
:with creating one, and there is STFW as well, but some folks might miss
:it. Is there any reason for omitting this file?

Well, every DHCP server configuration is different, I'm not sure what we
would put into a dhcpd.conf file as a default. The dhcpd.conf
manual page does have some good examples but considering how dangerous
running dhcpd blindly is it might be best not to actually have a default
    configuration file.

If someone wants to put together a working example we could stick it
    in /usr/share/examples/etc.
