Wireless Support

I had recently purchased a wifi card that works great in windows, though I
come to find out that support for it in the BSDs is only in OpenBSD 3.7,
FreeBSD 6.0, and NetBSD 3.0.

I'd like somebody to port the driver to the *lovely* DragonflyBSD, but I
think that'll require some major network changes, right?

Can anybody give me an idea of what to expect in the future?
