htw (hey this works)
Hope This Works? How Things Work? HoT Water? (thinking liquid-cooled
AMD's)
Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft (HTW)?

bts (better then smp)
bts out of me? Bug Tracking System (Debian)

umip (uni/multi/inbetween processor)
University of Manchester Intellectual Property Limited ( UMIP )
. ..and several Danish agencies...

tspa (true scalable processing architecture)
Twentieth-Century Software Preservation Archive.

nmtn (never minded to name)

National Music Theatre Network

*OTOH*

SMP - is probably still the safest and best-understood,
even if nearly always incorrect, technically.
HMP - If nutcases attack FreeBSD's D. Mon for 'Devil Worship',
DragonFly HMP'ing could get us branded pre-verts and incarcerated in HMP.
DMP - Heavily used, (quite aside from 'dump', with connotations similar
to the Farsi usage of 'go')

Ah, well... 'twas just a thought...
