k3b locking up the system?

Hey list,

Who else has seen this: 
after starting k3b, X11 (and the rest of the system) becomes unresponsive. 
cdrecord/growisofs/etc. work fine, but I think k3b does probing with cam on 
it's own, and somehow it buggers it.

It doesn't panic though, but it's hella annoying.
