er - um .. sheer laziness actually..
packages are indeed quickly made ..

Just so it doesn't get a bad name the ledger codebase is actually
pretty modern & up to date .. not sure about those but it requires gcc
>3 to compile which is what keeps me from using my uVAX as a retro
business workstation :)

but basically I just wanted to see if ledger could grok DragonFly
before I bothered with pkgsrc (it can), and I haven't written the pkg
yet since it worked :)

Anyhow, on second thought I might have had to force CFLAGS to
'-L/usr/pkg/lib -I...' to get this to work, in which case,
I should have '-Wl,'ed the library path coding in anyway..

just wanted to point out that :

"I encountered a situation where I needed it"

But again, whether it's PEBKAC and 'right' to include this or not is
another question entirely.. although if /usr/pkg is in the $PATH ..
