That part works, however, my clock, as output by date and such still shows
my time being 2 hours ahead of what it should be.

So it SAYS it is adjusting, but doesn't seem to.

Just compiled ntp from ports and did a single ntpdate to ntp0.nl.net and it
adjusted my clock to the correct time.
host found : ntp0.NL.net
13 Apr 19:45:33 ntpdate[10710]: step time server 193.67.79.202 offset
-7204.235477 sec

So your patch is coming close, but is not effective for real.

By the way, wether -> whether, other than that patch applied perfectly.
