Hello,

here's a BSD licensed replacement for the patch command (taken from
OpenBSD):

http://yoyodyne.ath.cx/tmp/patch.tar.gz
http://yoyodyne.ath.cx/tmp/patch.patch
The tarball contains the usr.bin/patch directory and the patch contains
the necessary changes in our system.

There are some minor differences to GNU patch, though:

1) The -b option has been replaced by -z.
2) The -I option no longer exists. It's the default behavior now to take
the file name from the "Index:" line if there is one.

Speed is about the same. If there are problems, let me know.

Stay tuned,
Sascha
