GNU gzip replacement

Hi all,
attached is a somewhat cleaned version of OpenBSD's compress.
It can be used as a full replacement for GNU gzip. It's BSD
licensed of course ;-) Just drop it into src/usr.bin and
remove gzip from gnu/usr.bin/Makefile to test it.
