    I really have no idea re: this.  Suspension in general is not well
    supported by any of the BSDs.

. . and there seems to be a bit of a 'Catch 22' there in any case.

If the BIOS can alter 'stuff' out of site of the OS it is parking, what 
does the existence of such a 'feature' do to a(ny) security model?

Seems to at least beg creating the option of setting a flag to 
specifically *prevent* suspend-to-disk/hibernation (and/or force a 
reboot on wake-up).

Just because one is paranoid....  etc
