Struggling with VirtualBox

software so that it will run on broken hardware.

If the "hardware" is actually software, one should rather fix the 
"hardware" to be standards compliant instead of adding bandaids to the 
operating system.

This is clearly a virtualbox bug and needs to be addressed in 
virtualbox.  All other emulators manage to do it, so it can't be that hard.
Ah okay. I was under the impression that maybe DragonFly is doing something wrong here.
So if it is VirtualBox that is erroneous, you're right. Luckily there are alternatives to it,
and no, we should not fix our software.
I'll take a look at kvm then :)
