    I'll tell you what.  I'll implement ISO booting support in HEAD's
    vkernel with an option.  We really want to have a few bells and
    whistles along with it, such as using a different device name and
    making it read-only to properly simulate a CD boot.  In fact, the
    installer might just work right out of the box with that sort of
    environment.

    If you have a problem getting a HEAD machine together to do development
    I would be happy to set up an environment on leaf.dragonflybsd.org
    for you.  I'd rather not spend the time MFC'ing the stuff to 1.8 (though
    that doesn't prevent other people from doing so).
