 Edit src/sys/vfs/ufs/ffs_softdep.c,v
src/sys/vfs/ufs/ffs_softdep.c,v: Checksum mismatch -- will transfer
entire file
Seems cvsup and new cvs don't agree on the file format. Our cvs now
inserts a commitid field, which cvsup doesn't know yet. We really
should switch to something else. Rsync is working fine here, just FYI.
what about speed and up-to-dateness with rsync? And can I rsync plain
source files or just the cvs repo? In the past I tried to rsync the
netbsd sources and after that they were either completly out of date or
rsync refused to work :(

rsync also seems to be quite heavy in ressource usage, quoting Thor
Lancelot Simon[1]:

"rsync, to be blunt, is a horrible pig. A single copy of rsync quickly
explodes to tens or even hundreds of megabytes in size, and its disk
access patterns are arguably even worse than those of cvs."
