Why not just have the computer publish its hostname through DNS?  Then, after 
the next DNS update, the installer surfs to dragonfly.my.domain.tld.  I know 
15 minutes is a long time to wait to install something, but it seems (to me) 
like an easy way to "fix" this.  Of course, I'm probably missing something :-S
