Imported, compilation works as well as using it against more popular CVS
servers.

Note that the default rsh is set to ssh (through config.h!) so access to
crater should continue to work out of the box.

I'll see during the day which functionality exactly still needs
reapplying.  I will chuck this to the CVSHOME guys as well.
