I second this wholeheartedly, whether it's cvsup, rsync, or whatever. 
Most every machine will need updates sooner or later.  It makes sense to
have it "ready to go".  

As I understand it, we already need cvsup installed.  What does cvsup do
that rsync does not, if rsync's easier to include?
