Why not?  The more details, the better; I'm really curious.

I have my pet peeves about dpkg, but overall I've had great experiences with
it.  

My problems are:

- package "database" is unindexed collection of flat files, so simple
searches take too long
- ar/tar binary format is a little silly, but not actually a problem
- I said I have peeves, but on thinking about it, that's all I've got.

Everyone knows the 1001 ways in which dpkg/apt/debian rock, right?  If not,
then I'd be happy to list them...
