Sure - see one of my other replies in the thread as to what i think it
takes to get to a point where xml might be in some system as the
configuartion system. Getting to the point where you can show an obvious
benefit of using XML will take far more than a couple of man-months - and
probably depends on using it more widely than simply /etc
