High Performance File Systems

I had relatively good contacts with VERITAS a few years back, and they
were very BSD-friendly.  Unfortunately, the marketeers weren't.

VERITAS is quite old now.  If I were to consider porting a file
system, it would probably be XFS.  In that case, it would be nice to
be able to get something closer to the original XFS, before it was
converted to fit Linux: I think that would involve significantly less
porting work.  Possibly Sam Leffler would have an idea.
