I think you want to leave that in so the CD boot doesn't have to
run it every time.
It's not that people are booting all the time from CD, and it doesn't take
particularly long to run either. The problem at hand is that you need to
have the host compiled with sendmail, otherwise you can't run newaliases.
I'd rather delay this (unnecessary) action, than perform weird hacks in
