(D'oh.  "it's my first day."  I'll use that excuse while I still can :)

btw, I'll second Emiel's comment.  Commit bits (and commits) are tools,
not measures of status or worth.  I'm thankful to Matt for recognizing
that, and I'll do my best to live up to the responsibility.
