Issue #2473 has been updated by swildner.

Description updated

I seem to remember we had crashes at some point when someone would try to up the wlan device directly (instead of using a wlan(4) interface). Could the cause have been this?

----------------------------------------
I installed v3.3.0.758.g47388-DEVELOPMENT on Asus EEEPC 1000HG (1000H with 3G module) where I replaced default wifi card with Intel 3945 card. I had to add load command to loader.conf in order for the device to be recognized. After that wpi0 showed up and when I try to "up" it system crashes.

I attached core.txt file and can provide kernel and crashdump if needed.
