Issue #2709 has been updated by jorisgio.


Hi, this is probably the same issue as #2707. The bug is not fixed yet but is being worked on. In the meantime, if you have more than 2GB of ram, you can try the patch. If the patch does not work, you can boot verbose, grep "flush page" in dmesg and grab the address of the page, and change 0x80000000 by its value on the patch.

Hi,

I am running Current on a X61 Lenovo Notebook (I know quite an old machine :)) and observe a crash every time Xorg (using WM 'Awesome') is running after a short period of time (several minutes).

The machine crashed the first time after I have upgraded from 3.6 to 3.8 and then I thought of trying Current, but did not see any improvement.
