[issue1590] DFBSD 2.5.x pkgsrc -current / VLC crashes after closing

Hi,

VLC 1.0.2 from pkgsrc -current segfaults right when you close it. This is a
2.5.1 release.

Steps to reproduce:
Start VLC gui by issuing 'vlc'. Then just close the application, it will
segfault instanlty.
