Stale files in /usr/X11/bin ?

The reason I had trouble updating the new kdebase3 port is
because of two old files, xfontconfig-config and freetype-config,
which were left over from I-dunno-where.

The configure script for kdebase was using those old config
files to mis-configure the new kde environment.

AFAICT there should be no such files in /usr/X11/bin, but the
freetype2 port does install freetype-config in /usr/local/bin.

There does seem a bit of a schism between the xorg port and
the freetype/fontconfig ports, which all include the same
code. I think the xorg ports did install the two files in
question in some previous incarnation, but I'm guessing.

Anyway, you might want to check your own machines for the
same problem.

Oh, BTW, at some time in the past some ports were configured
to install files in /usr/X11/lib/pkgconfig instead of the
correct location /usr/X11/libdata/pkgconfig. This has also
caused me hours of confusion, so you might want to check for
that also.
