the official forum archives are not always chmod -R a+rX

I noticed this yesterday, then before I could write a bug report, it was
fixed. Now (Mon Nov 22 23:51:03 UTC 2004) it's broken again. Seems like
the apache doc need a "chmod -R a+rX"

I'm happy to develop/submit a patch but I don't know where/what code
puts the archive in the web cgi is located.
