:gday mate, yep shes reproduceable.
:i did it 3 times.
:
:mount -t msdos /dev/da1s1 /mnt/usbmedia/cflash
:cd /mnt/usbmedia/cflash
:mkdir test1
:cd test1
:dmesg > xxx
:cd ..
:l
:
:(l is alias ls -la in my .cshrc)
:
:various other things triggered it as well.
:I created a directory and removed it ok.

Ok. I couldn't reproduce it right off the bat so I need to know
the *exact* ISO snapshot you are running so I can boot that one and
    see if it occurs there.

    There are three 1031 snapshots:

    2CSNAP-20041031-1130-Stable.iso.gz 31-Oct-2004 22:45 81.2M
    2CSNAP-20041031-1626-GCC2.iso.gz 01-Nov-2004 03:42 81.3M
    2CSNAP-20041031-2330-GCC2.iso.gz 01-Nov-2004 10:42 81.3M

In the mean time you may want to try cvsup'ing the latest DragonFly_Stable
source and compiling up a kernel from that.
