Anyone have luck with DVD Playback?

For all of the above, btw, make sure you have libdvdcss and libdvdread
installed.  (Note that libdvdcss is illegal in the USA because of the
DMCA.  You cannot legally play a legally-purchased DVD in the USA on a
legally-purchased computer unless you also buy "authorised" player
software, which doesnt exist on DragonFly or most other non-Windows
systems.)  

Also, your DVD drive firmware may be region-coded for a different
region from the one you live in / the one your DVDs originate from.
In that case you're probably out of luck.

If these are problems, complain loudly to your manufacturer, the DVD
CCA, the MPAA, your lawmakers, whoever...
