freeze on reboot

Not sure if I'm seeing the same hang, but my on laptop ctrl-alt-esc works.
The wireless card is built into the system, so I can't remove it or
power off.(is there an alternative for pccardc?)
And AFTER the reboot(using reset command in DDB), I'm seeing a bunch of
messages from interrupt rate limiting code and it persists until a
power-cycle.
