We'll I updated my kernel sources and applied your patch, and then
rebooted and used the default boot option (ACPI enabled). I've been
compiling things, installing packages and flipping in and out of X
quite a bit while playing music, and Audio CDs. Not a single panic
today, and I have over seven of them this weekend. So something must
be right now. I really think it was the patch that fixed my problem
because I still had panics even booting with ACPI disabled.

Thanks.
