LiveCD Problems

    Ok, this has now been fixed.  The issue is that you don't have a serial
    port and the kernel thinks you do.  The CD tries to run a getty on ttyd0
    (com1) and everything locks up.

    I committed code yesterday that does a better job probing whether the
    serial port actually exists or not.

    Note that this is not fixed in the RC1 ISO.  It is fixed in current sources
    and will be fixed in the RC2 ISO which I hope to roll tonight.
