ACPI hangs on laptop

Hi

I'm using a Compal CL50 based laptop.

Specs (Small difference but not of any significance):

However, the kernel hangs right after this:

This have been an issue as long as i've used DF, so i'm not really sure whats the problem, and though some of you had a clue.

Oh, and the bios is Intersyde Software MobilePRO bios.
