Well, there are umass devices not using the ATAPI layer, but providing
e.g. a SCSI direct access emulation. For those the atapicam is not
needed. E.g. firewire does handle is correctly, but sbp doesn't need
to worry about ATAPI, ATA and direct SCSI packages ;-)
