NTFS problems.

What do you suppose the likelihood of the 'trash my system' bug being
fixed in the NTFS code?

Last time I mounted an NTFS partition (few months ago) everything broke
-- to the extent that I could no longer boot DragonFly -- and then I had
to do a complete reinstall. This wasn't much fun. I'm kind of affraid
to try it again.

Any ideas?

thanks,

James

Ok, I'm getting closer. There are two problems.. first, it looks like
you are loading ntfs as a module. Try building it into the kernel
itself. Second, if it's possible to get a kernel core dump that would
help a huge amount. The stack trace is broken but I can get the correct
    trace from a core dump.
Another alternative would be to construct a NTFS partition that
demonstrates the crash that I can then download and mount/umount
via the vn device to reproduce the crash on my side.

There are a lot of holes in the NTFS code, unfortunately. I am still
trying to find a smoking gun.
