[eirik at dfbsd sys]$ swapinfo
Device 1K-blocks Used Avail Capacity Type
/dev/rad0s4b 307072 0 307072 0% Interleaved
     ^
Where does this 'r' come from?

[eirik at dfbsd sys]$ cat /etc/fstab| grep swap
/dev/ad0s4b none swap sw 0 0

I also added some small debugging to src/sys/vm/vm_swap.c:swapon(...) and
it printed /dev/ad0s4b as the device that is used as the swapon device.
