Sounds like a good idea.  I also feel that this is a typical
example where asking a purely academic question that has no real
practical application (seriously, how many people have a good
reason to care how accurate sleep is?) leads to certain discoveries
that can have real world implications.

Heh, the same academic thinking that put the "B" in BSD.
