   The same thing happens to me, except it does tell me that the system
   power profile has change to 'economy' on boot (maybe it tells you too
   but you aren't looking in the dmesg in the right place).  And, 
indeed,
I see it now, realy thought it was away, maybe I should clean my 
glassess :-)
I'll do later on the day a full and clean build and report if I notice 
something.

The behavior is still the same, I made new outputs on my site:
http://www.xs4all.nl/~mhellwig/feedback/dragonflybsd/NEC_VERSA_FM320/acpi_slow_offline/
containing: asl, dsdt, atacontrol list, dmesg normal and verbose 
offline/online, current kernel configuration, pciconf -lv, sysctl -a, 
and a uname -a. For d/l convenience there is All_output.tgz which 
contains all of them.

If something is missing please say so, I'll adapt my feedback script.
