Hello,

I have a problem with DragonFly BSD. I've got snapshot build from
official site dated 27 aug. Installation process went smooth, but when i
tried to boot up, bootloader just restarted my pc. It wrote something on
the screen but i didn't manage to read it, it was very quickly, about .5 sec.
It was something like a row of numbers in hex. I've tried to disable ACPI -
nothing. Changed hdd access modes in my bios (CHS/LBA) - nothing. Finaly i've
booted from livecd and checked my partition tables. On my look it was nothing
wrong.

installing FreeBSD 5.1 bootloader also didn't halp.

p.s. when I delete all my partition tables via dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/ad0
bs=32k count=16, then fdisk, 3 partitions are unused, 4th, last one, is entire
disk.

Sorry for this long story, I'm newbie to unix systems.
I think i've did something wrong. Can you poing to right thing? Thank you.

p.s.p.s. i've got AMD AthlonXP 1700+/256RAM/40Gb Maxtor 6Y040L0 HDD, Windows XP
and FreeBSD worked perfectly on this configuration.

Alexander.
