Hi,

my system shows a very weird bug. Believe it or not:

I put in a Matrox Millenium G200 8MB AGP graphics adapter. As soon as I
change the graphics mode to VESA_800x600 the system clock gets _fast_. 5
seconds real world time make about 1 minute system time.

- This happens with the old vidcontrol as well as with the new one.
Phew! :)

- This happens only when I switch to a mode >256.

- This happens only with the Matrox card. We've tried reproducing the
behaviour on a friends machine (by booting my kernel) but it worked
fine. He has an nVIDIA adapter. Are there any Matrox Millenium AGP users
out there?

Since I wanted to have a look at the vesa/syscons stuff anyway I'm
rather looking for some gentle advice how one would go about finding the
bug. I'm still an amateur debugger.

Regards,
Sascha
This is because DragonFly is so fast, Earth time actually slows relative
to your processor.

Joking aside, I duplicated this bug here with the same video card. It's
kind of comical. Everything runs much, much faster... ping, top, reboot,
find ... I might just keep this bug.
