SMP kernel hanging at when testing 8254 interrupt delivery

    Mine doesn't (a DELL2550), or I would have noticed it.

    Shoot.  I am currently at a loss as to the cause.  What kind of machine
    is this occuring on?

:I'm out of town for two days.  When I get back I'll be able to fool with

    All right.  Whatever help you can give, small or large, is appreciated.
    I've been trying to get Jeff to push into the issue as well since his
    machine does the same thing.
